The European Union and Sport Interreg IVC Since the publication of the White Paper on Sport and 's entry into force of the new Lisbon Treaty, which provides a specific power of the Union to support, coordinate or supplement the actions of the Member States in the field of Sports, the Commission shall publish annually a notice specifically designed to support and fund preparatory actions in the field.
