Through Action 3.2 "Youth in the World" program "Youth in Action", the European Commission supports projects that promote cooperation in the youth sector with countries outside the European Union (click on the box on the left to enlarge). Projects should aim to:
- to improve the mobility of young people and workers in the field of youth;
- to promote the empowerment of young people and their active participation
- to promote the capacity building of organizations and youth structures in order to contribute to the development of civil society;
- to promote cooperation and exchange of experiences and best practices in the field of youth and non formal education;
- contribute to the development of youth policy, labor youth and volunteer;
- to develop sustainable partnerships and networks between youth organizations.
Projects must be submitted and managed by NGOs or public entities resident in EU member countries and developed in partnership with third countries listed, may have a maximum duration of 12 months and may receive a maximum grant of € 100,000.
The deadline for submission projects is June 1, 2009 .
