Funding for environmental projects and energy saving




The European Intelligent Energy Europe Programme aims to improve energy efficiency in Europe. Encouraging the spread of renewable energies, the program aims to stimulate actions to encourage energy efficiency and rational use of energy sources, promote new and renewable energy sources and supporting the diversification of energy sources, promote energy efficiency el ' use new and renewable energy sources in transport, such as bio-fuels.
The IEE Programme 2007-2013 is part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme of the EU. Its total budget of € 730 million is to finance, through annual
calls, the best European projects, supporting up to 75% of the cost of selected projects.
The beneficiaries are public and private entities that may submit projects to promote the achievement of EU energy and climate change. The projects, which lasts two to three years, must involve at least three partners from three different countries. Participation in a contract IEE is a highly competitive.

On 3 February 2010 in Brussels held an information day for potential bneficiari dive will present the program in detail and will discuss the modalities of participation and funding of projects.
